About the company & the role

We are international logistics provider with a modern distribution center in Westzaan. For this location, we are looking for someone who can take on expedition responsibilities - a role that combines working on the warehouse floor, in the office, and reporting. This position is ideal for candidates with logistics experience who enjoy variety in their work, are detail-oriented, and can communicate well with both colleagues and external partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Checking incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy and completeness
Performing quality checks when needed
Monitoring daily shipments and ensuring all documentation is correct
Preparing reports on warehouse and expedition activities
Communicating with different transport partners and clients regarding shipments
Supporting smooth cooperation between the warehouse floor and office operations

What We Offer:

€17.30 gross per hour
8% holiday allowance

Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for a motivated and organized professional who can take responsibility in this versatile expedition role. Because this position combines warehouse activities, office work, and communication with clients, the following background and skills are important:

Proven experience in logistics (expedition, warehouse coordination, or similar roles)
Strong communication skills – experience in customer service or client contact is a big plus
Good command of English (spoken and written) – additional languages are an advantage, especially Dutch
Ability to work in a structured and accurate way
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility
Team player who can also work independently when needed
