For one of my trusted clients active in the Electronics sector in the business district of Amsterdam, We are currently looking for a Facilities Specialist + IT for the period of 7-10 months with the chance of extension. You will be responsible for various process-based tasks and support the Fleet Coordinator and Manager with your knowledge and skills gained during your previous jobs and studies.

Description

Monitor Vehicle Locations
Use fleet tracking software to check vehicle positions and report any irregularities to senior staff.
Assist with Maintenance Scheduling
Help update service logs and send reminders for upcoming maintenance using digital tools.
Support Fuel Usage Reporting
Collect and organize fuel data from systems or spreadsheets for analysis by the team.
Review Driver Logs
Check basic driving behavior reports and escalate any concerns to supervisors.
Update Asset Records
Maintain accurate digital records of vehicle details, including registration and service history.
Help Ensure Compliance
Assist in tracking insurance and inspection dates using automated alerts or shared calendars.
Prepare Cost Summaries
Support the finance team by gathering fleet-related expenses for monthly reporting.
Log Incidents
Enter accident or breakdown reports into the system and follow up on documentation.
Coordinate System Updates
Work with IT or vendors to ensure fleet software is running smoothly and updated as needed.
Manage User Access
Help set up or adjust access permissions for drivers and staff in fleet management platforms.

Administer user permissions and ensure compliance with IT security protocols across fleet platforms.
Obviously, this is merely a part of your daily responsibilities. What makes a Fleet Specialist role interesting, is the fact that there are plenty of Ad-hoc tasks to be completed frequently. Every day is a surprise and you will be able to learn from very experienced leaders.

Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
• MBO degree or higher with a focus on Facilities / Business or IT
• Team player and pro-active mindset
• Fluency in English, Dutch is a huge plus
• Immediately available
• 32 to 40 hours a week
• SAP experience is valuable
