Over de functie
We are looking for parcel handlers who like to work evenings and nights. You will be working in flexible shifts. Of course this also includes allowances! Your job in the evening as a parcel handler, is to take parcels from the trucks and put them on the sorting belt and in the evening to take the parcels off the conveyor belt and prepare them for the right bus or truck. The big trucks have a retractable conveyor belt. You work 1-5 days and you schedule your own shifts! We are looking for parcel handlers who prefer working in the night.
It is important that you stay alert and handle the packages with care. Meanwhile you make sure that the warehouse stays tidy and afterwards you help cleaning up the warehouse with the other parcel handlers. The packages weigh between 0 and 32 kg, but the average is 6 kg!
Over het bedrijf
Your new employer is located in Westpoort / Ruigoord. They are a large parcel service with over 12 locations throughout the Netherlands. In Amsterdam they have a wonderful efficient system so the packages only need to be picked up and off the conveyor belt. The shifts that are there work in teams. So you too will soon become part of a close team of parcel handlers.
Wat wij vragen
- You are able to do physical work and have no problem lifting heavy packages;
- You speak English or Dutch;
- You are willing to work in shifts, evening and night;
- You have no problem working in a busy and noisy environment;
- Preferably you have some experience as a warehouse employee or parcel handler.
- A gross average hourly wage of €15,-;
- Evening and night bonuses;
- Via PDZ you build up vacation allowance and days off;
- A great opportunity to work somewhere for a longer period of time;
- Reimbursement of travel expenses. Per Kilometer or OV costs.
