On the press department, you work together with a team of six colleagues to transform raw materials into the final product: a sandwich panel. The raw materials arrive pre-cut on the press department, and based on production drawings, you are responsible for assembling and gluing everything in the correct position. All panels are custom-made, with varying levels of complexity, which makes each panel — and each day — different.

As a press production worker, you often work with some of the most modern processing equipment in the logistics sector. You play an important role in the production process. By maintaining, inspecting, and monitoring the machines, you ensure that they keep running smoothly. You identify malfunctions and, where possible, solve them yourself. Do you have a pair of skilled hands and the necessary technical insight? Then the position of production worker is a great fit for you.

As a production worker, you are an indispensable link in the production process. Together with your colleagues, you work accurately and contribute to a high-quality end result. This end result isn’t always the same product, but within each product, you often have one part that you are responsible for — so you always know what to expect! Of course, you follow all rules, with safety as a top priority. At the end of the day, you feel accomplished because hard work is rewarded.

Your tasks include:

• Emptying, cleaning, and preparing the press tables
• Laying out the various raw materials for production
• Producing the sandwich panels
• Cleaning the workplace
• Using an overhead crane to move sandwich panels

• Accurate and reliable, with strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work precisely
• Sufficient technical insight
• Ability to read production drawings (this can also be learned with us)
• Able to work well in a team
• Able to speak Dutch or English
