As a warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland, you will work part-time as an order picker. In the morning at 05:45 you are present at work, you get all your stuff out of your locker and have a cup of coffee or tea with your colleagues. At 06:00 there is a daystart. In the daystart, they tell you all the special things of that day, how many carts there are and what the ending time will be. Then you go to work, together with your colleagues.

What does working as a warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland involve?

You drive around on an electric truck. With this electric truck, you take a cart and through your teminal yous ee what flowers you need te get to make the order complete. Your terminal will send you from location to location. At each location, you transfer a certain number of cans. Once you have done this, you go to the next location. You do this, together with your colleagues, until all the orders have been distributed.

Because no day is the same for a warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland, the ending time is different every day. This is often between 09:00 and 11:00. But this can also be a little earlier or a little later.

You will start working at Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer through Actief Werkt!. Royal FloraHolland has been around for over 100 years and is even the largest flower auction in the world! We operate at 3 locations: Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg and Aalsmeer. 

Actief Werkt! has an office at the flower auction, right next to the work floor. This makes it easy to drop by for a chat or if you have a question. We are ready to help you from Monday to Friday!
