The Packer is part of the machine crew and is functionally controlled by the operator of the relevant line. Packer functionally manages the production employees who perform supporting activities (labelling, crushing, supply and disposal).

Core tasks / responsibilities:

• Checking the production orders, batch number and (best before) date;
• Carrying out the metal detection;
• Checking the products for 'leaky' containers;
• Optimal operation of the Delta;
• The handling of finished products;
• Resolving and/or supporting colleagues in the technical service in the event of malfunctions;
• Keeping the machines and working environment clean;
• Carrying out production and fault registration;
• Ensuring the transfer of the work to the subsequent operator.
