Senior Production Engineer - Mechanical Kaag • Middle Point

• Supervise final design phases, detailed engineering, and precise 3D modeling.

• Mentor and lead a team of engineers and apprentices through coaching and technical direction.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, classification societies, and flag state standards.

• Collaborate with various disciplines to identify and resolve technical challenges.

• Review and approve engineering drawings and documentation before submission.

• Support continuous improvement in engineering methodologies, standards, and innovation.

• Coordinate with Production, Subcontractors, and Suppliers to align technical specifications and feasibility.

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role within the shipbuilding sector.

• Hands-on experience with 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic.

• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.

• Knowledge and experience in exterior engineering, moving equipment, and integration of onboard systems.

• Insight into cable and panel planning, onboard systems, weight distribution, and budget constraints.

• Strong technical understanding of yacht construction and production processes.

• An analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and results.
