For our client, an international company in Venlo, we are looking for a

Transport employee inbound 32-40 hrs

As a transport employee inbound, you’re the key link between the port, our customers, and our internal operations. You coordinate and manage the transport of goods from the terminal to our warehouse in Venlo. You make sure every detail is spot on; from arrival times to customs documentation, from processing release forms to communicating with carriers. You achieve this by:

  • setting up, structuring, and overseeing the full inbound process;
  • monitoring arrivals, releases and ETAs, and responding quickly and accurately;
  • liaising with customers and carriers on documentation, customs and planning;
  • spotting irregularities, improving processes, and escalating issues when needed.

Your team stands out because you’ll be joining a brand-new team, fully focused on inbound transport for a leading fashion client. This department is still in development, giving you the space to shape and build it your way. From structure to processes, your ideas will help lay the groundwork for success.

Function requirements
  • A relevant education;
  • Excellent talking and writing skills of the English language;
  • proven experience in customer service, supply chain, or planning within logistics;
  • the ability to stay calm and structured, even when things get busy;
  • precision and attention to detail in your work;
  • a proactive mindset; you contribute ideas, suggest improvements, and aren’t afraid to go off the beaten path;
  • excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
