Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated (Senior) Lead Engineer Civil Structural Architectural (CSA) to play a key role in a wide range of industrial engineering projects. This is not a narrow or repetitive role — you’ll work across multiple projects simultaneously or sequentially, spanning various sectors and scales. Variety and challenge are built into your day-to-day.

You’ll be responsible for defining technical scopes, developing planning and budgeting documentation, and coordinating project deliverables. As lead engineer, you guide a team of engineers and designers while staying hands-on with conceptual and detailed design work. Your focus includes both concrete and steel structures, ensuring that every engineering package meets client requirements and regulatory standards.

Collaboration is core to this position. You’ll work closely with other disciplines, project stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective and efficient project execution from initiation to completion. Alongside this, you’ll actively contribute to themes such as sustainability, safety, and energy efficiency within the industrial and energy domains.

The work environment is dynamic and highly collaborative, offering strong multidisciplinary interaction in a modern 3D project setting.  

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, including at least 5 years in a Lead Engineer CSA role or similar leadership capacity
• Experience in onshore industrial mono- and multidisciplinary projects (e.g., oil & gas, storage), involving both concrete and steel structures
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering and construction methods, including procedural expertise
• Proven ability to create proposals, estimates, scopes of work, and planning schedules
• Skilled in structural calculations and reviewing technical designs
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline
• Proficient with AutoCAD Viewer, Navisworks Simulate, and MS Office; SCIA and MS Projects experience is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
