Job description

Join Philips Innovation Engineering’s dynamic Operations and Supply Chain Consulting team. We’re looking for a professional with a passion for operations & supply chain, using lean, agile, quality and data and AI driven approaches to drive impactful improvements in Philips Operations. You will be part of a broader Innovation Management team of 80 experts in Sustainability, Innovation, Supply Chain, Operations and R&D Project Management. You will work closely with Philips businesses and functions, gaining experience across various Philips businesses operating globally, building a large network, and participating in diverse projects to grow and utilize your talents. You work in a hybrid model, at the Philips office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (min 3d/week).

Your Role

  • Participate in supply chain and operations projects together with subject matter experts to accelerate results by driving activities which include supply chain cost modeling, design and optimization, transformation and change management, cost analysis and reviewing and reporting on logistics results.
  • Drive supply chain and operations business analysis activities by conducting in-depth assessments of trends, competitive benchmarks, current performance and emerging technologies within the MedTech field.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts aimed at enhancing supply chain and operations effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision making.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to develop project plans and budgets that align with organizational goals and client needs.
  • Report on project deliverables to stakeholders and the internal team.
  • Establish and maintain an operational network to support projects/areas you're involved in.
  • Support consulting organization with internal processes and team activities.

You're the right fit if

  • You have a Master’s degree in Operations & Supply Chain or related discipline and outstanding scholarly results, supplemented with extra-curricular activities
  • You have 3-4 years of experience in delivering complex projects to meet demanding targets in time and quality in a high-tech / health-tech environment in operations and supply chain and/or as analyst/junior consultant in a management consulting firm.
  • You have foundational knowledge and a passion for the broader supply chain and operations domain, ranging from supply chain strategy and design to supply chain optimization & excellence.
  • You have experience in working directly with clients.
  • You bring a collaborative and fast learner mindset, eager to pick up and apply new approaches and tools to solve complex problems.
  • You are an excellent communicator and presenter.
  • You have advanced skills in using Excel, PowerPoint, data & analytics, and visualization tools
  • You are comfortable using and explaining AI tools and can preferably apply AI tools in real workflows or business problems.

In addition, you are

  • A self-starter and team player who connects easily and builds trust.
  • A team player who motivates others and takes initiative.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch understanding preferred).
  • Willing to work in a hybrid model, at the Philips office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven or at the Amsterdam office (min. 3 to 4 days/week).

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
