Front Office Employee / Agent

As a receptionist, you'll have the chance to delve into the world of 5* hotel Front Office, using all your core skills. From check-in and check-out, to answering the phone and processing reservations: here you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine. What are you going to do? 

As a Front Office employee, you'll step into the world of reception in the broadest sense of the word. You'll welcome new guests and handle check-in and check-out, process reservations, and handle all sorts of questions, all of which you naturally know the answers to. You're uniquely skilled at providing guests with the very best 5* service, and you're committed to ensuring your name appears in reviews. In short, you're the versatile and indispensable link that ensures top-notch service in the hotel lobby.  

• Where will you do this?
  The former Shipping House of Amsterdam now houses one of Amsterdam's most iconic five-star hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel boasts 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, eight meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is located just 500 meters from Central Station and is easily accessible from the highway.

  Our hotel is part of Amrâth Hotels. Amrâth Hotels comprises 12 three-, four-, and five-star hotels in the Netherlands. Our hotels are situated in unique and central locations from Maastricht to Alkmaar. They are characterized by comfort, personalized service, and a unique character.
  Your luggage 
  • You have a positive and driven attitude.  
  • With your smile and hospitable attitude, you know how to give every guest a warm welcome, even after a 4-hour delay.  
  • Experience in the hotel industry is a plus, but not required. You can learn everything within our team.   
  • You have a good command of Dutch and/or English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut! there gushes!  

• What do we offer you? 
  • An exciting 0-hour job in the heart of Amsterdam 
  • A salary in accordance with the Horeca collective labor agreement 14.84 EUR based on a full-time employment contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience. 
  •  We offer a 7-month or 1-year contract with the option to extend. We want you to stay with us!
