Making sure millions of customers get their orders delivered at home with the right quality is where you make a difference. For the eCommerce Back Office domain we are looking for an eager and tech-savvy Oracle technical lead who above all, cares about quality. In this role you understand the software landscape, ask relevant questions and collaborate to deliver value as a team.

• You will be working in a team of Oracle PL/SQL and Java developers
• Take responsibility for the product with the DevOps team
• Make changes to the existing codebase and deliver new functionality
• You will work on European project(s) and impactful software

The E-commerce Back Office domain is all about fulfilling our promises to customers and making sure logistics processes run smooth for all deliveries. We are the part within CTP, Customer Tech Platform, that ensures that all orders placed online; are produced, picked and arrive at our customers' homes. As a team we strive to do this as quick, efficient and correct as possible and therefore make a huge impact for our customers.

Collaborating with your team, you'll engage in inspiring projects to expedite our transformation. You'll make an impact by delivering software that enhances our efficiency and, most importantly, sustainability in customer deliveries. The team operates fully in a DevOps manner (including standby shifts) and is responsible for the backend software. In this project, you'll coordinate with external partners to develop a high-quality product.

Experience with migrating from Oracle to service-oriented architectures is a significant advantage, as it aligns with our strategic goals. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams on large and complex projects, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across the organization.

•  Possess a work and thinking level equivalent to at least a bachelor's degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience with PL/SQL in large databases.
• Proficient in tools such as SQL*Plus, TOAD, and/or SQL Developer.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide team members, effectively managing team dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, with a focus on improving system architecture for scalability and efficiency.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and project management.
• Proficient in SHELL scripting and Linux.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
• Experience with OutSystems is an advantage.
• Java/Kotlin experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with retail and logistics processes is an advantage.
• Experience with Kafka is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms (11g) is a plus.
• Ability to work in DevOps teams, responsible for 24/7 operations, including participation in a standby schedule.
• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with migrating from Oracle to service-oriented architectures is a significant advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams on large and complex projects, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across the organization.
