Wat ga jij doen?

As Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining our QA strategy and driving its execution across teams. You will establish high standards, introduce and refine guidelines, and ensure that everyone consistently applies them. You’ll also keep an eye on the future: making sure our testing principles, tooling, and processes stay aligned with industry best practices and the continuously evolving technology landscape. Your work will directly contribute to the robustness, reliability, and trustworthiness of USoft’s solutions.

Your responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the QA framework, including standards, guidelines, and policies.
Act as the champion of quality in development projects, ensuring that best practices are followed.
Evaluate and implement modern testing tools & approaches (automation, integration testing, regression frameworks, CI/CD pipelines).
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to embed quality from requirements to delivery.
Lead the definition of measurable quality metrics and monitor adherence.
Mentor and support team members in applying QA practices effectively.
Stay up to date with industry standards, tools, and emerging technologies to futureproof our QA framework.

Wat wij vragen?

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of handson experience in QA/testing, ideally in enterprise-grade software environments.
Strong background in test strategy, test automation, CI/CD, and quality governance.
Deep understanding of modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, cloudnative approaches).
Experience with test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright) and test management tools.
A structured mindset with great attention to detail, combined with the ability to zoom out and align QA with business goals.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A natural coach and influencer, able to bring others along on the quality journey
