Job role: IT Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (IT PM) to lead and deliver IT projects within the pharmaceutical sector. This role combines project management, business analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to drive digital transformation across manufacturing, logistics, laboratories, and supply chain operations. You will ensure compliance with industry regulations while delivering business value through innovative IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support assigned IT project activities, from requirement analysis to solution design.
Manage project management and business analyst activities for IT initiatives.
Interact with multiple stakeholders: execution systems, plant engineers, and line technicians.
Collaborate with Technology Leaders, Project Managers, Product Owners, Service Owners, and Business Teams to ensure project success.
Facilitate technical discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Improve internal and external communication, ensuring transparency across local and global teams.
Align closely with local & global IT organizations and external partners.
Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

Key Competencies:

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations (GxP, FDA, ISO).
Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Trello, Confluence).
Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes and supply chain management (a plus).
Familiarity with IT systems such as MES, ERP, LIMS, and clinical trial systems (advantageous).
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project Manager in IT within pharma, life sciences, or healthcare industries.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Required Experience & Skills:

10+ years of experience in technical program/project management, preferably in supply chain.
Experience with technology integrations and program delivery.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and lead teams effectively.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide team members.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (a plus).

Preferred Experience & Skills:

IT project management and product lifecycle management in a regulated environment.
Familiarity with digital transformation projects, cloud-based solutions, and data analytics platforms.
Working knowledge of multiple technical disciplines: SAP, MES, OSIsoft Historian, Databases, GenAI, ML, Digital Twin, eLIMS, labeling solutions, WAN/LAN infrastructure, hosting & storage solutions, MS Windows, and desktop hardware/software.
Understanding of frameworks and methodologies: Agile, ITIL, SDLC, CSV.
Ability to align business drivers with technology investments and communicate in business-friendly language.
