Job description

Then this Manufacturing Engineer Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul MRO (Part-145 Engineering) position within Fokker Landing Gear's MRO team is perfect for you. You'll be the go-to person for complex technical issues, working alongside a dedicated team on esteemed projects like the NH90, Apache, and JSF programs.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer who's passionate about aviation and problem-solving. You're a practical thinker, able to work independently and as part of a team.

What will you be doing?

As a Manufacturing Engineer, your day-to-day will involve troubleshooting complex technical issues on the shop floor, collaborating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring smooth manufacturing processes.

• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technical problems.
• Collaborate with other engineers (Product, Quality, Tooling, Configuration, Process, CAM) to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the MRO team.
• Support the manufacturing of landing gear systems and components for various aircraft programs.
• Being the main point of contact for technical issues in the MRO shop floor and production area.
• Preparing and managing MRO process routings.
• Collaborating with other disciplines (e.g., Process Engineering, Quality, Production Operators, and Procurement).
• Creating Repair Designs or Salvage Proposals for Design Authority Organizations/OEMs/Customers.
• Improving tooling and equipment for process optimization.

• Technical Bachelor degree, preferably in Aeronautical, Mechanical- or Automotive Engineering,
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in Aerospace MRO (Engineering),
• Working knowledge of quality systems and Aviation Legislation models (e.g. AS9110, EASA/EMAR-145)

Terms of employment

It concerns a secondment agreement at Fokker Aerospace BV via Yacht for 1 year, with possibility of extension after the first year.

Full-time (40 h p/w preferred; 32-36 h p/w is discussible)
