Are you a skilled technician who likes fixing machines quickly? Do you want to work in a team and help keep our production running smoothly? Join us at production site in Leerdam!

Key responsibilities:

• You will work with your team to keep our machines working well;
• You will find and fix problems in mechanical and electrical equipment.;
• You will also help improve machines and take part in projects;
• You will keep records of your work and sometimes work a consignment shift on weekends (also called on-call shifts).

You will work 36 hours per week on 3 shifts:

• Morning/Day 7:00 - 15:00
• Evening: 15:00 - 23:00
• Night: 23:00 - 7:00.

The team consists not only of maintenance technicians, but also the shift leader, OT (operational technology) specialist and maintenance engineers.

• Wage of €19,50 per hour or more (it depends on years of experience);

You will be working in one of the largest dairy companies in the world (producing milk, yogurt, cheese and many more). The company has branches in 30 countries and almost 20 000 employees worldwide. In Leerdam, we produce and pack different types of Dutch cheese like Edam and Gouda. Our products go all over the world under famous brands like Frico and Milner. About 400 employees from more than 30 countries work here in shifts. We focus on safety and quality to keep our customers and employees happy for a long time.

• You have finished MBO level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics. If you don’t have a degree but have good experience, you are also welcome;
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician;
• You have knowledge of both mechanical and electrical work (electromechanics);
• Experience in food or packaging industry is a plus, but not required;
• Knowing SAP and Excel is a bonus but not required;
• Very good level of Dutch, English is a plus.
