Als hardware engineer werk je aan de elektrische ruggengraat van indrukwekkende maritieme schepen. The hardware engineer serves as the link between engineering and execution for various hardware systems and finds ways to continuously improve them.
This international client operates worldwide, with 22 nationalities represented among more than 800 employees. Internationality is part of their culture across projects and teams, and they represent a work environment everyone can be themselves.
The responsibilities of the hardware engineer,- Working on electrical backbone installations;
- Supporting the design of electrical and mechanical systems;
- Supervising and checking the installation of various systems on board;
- Testing, commissioning, and fine-tuning the systems;
- Ensuring everything functions as intended;
- Collaborating closely with engineers, electricians, and project teams;
- Acting as the link between engineering and execution;
- Continuously improving various systems, and possibly making them function even better than intended;
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics/Mechatronica, or a similar study;
- Experience with shipboard electrical systems;
- Strong communication skills;
- A practical, solution-focused approach;
- The drive to work as a part of a team;
- The eligibility to work in the Netherlands;
- A gross salary of € 3800 up to € 4500 per month;
