Senior Software Engineer

We’re working with a Series A FinTech company building an AI-integrated SaaS platform focused on modernising pricing and billing. The business is led by a founding engineer from Adyen and has recently raised €10M in funding. Despite being at an early stage, the platform is already used by high-profile customers, including Adyen and Stripe.

The company is product-led and impact-driven, with a strong emphasis on ownership and cross-functional collaboration. Engineers work closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Sales to build a high-performance platform in a fast-growing environment.

You’ll join a team developing the next generation of pricing and billing technology within a scaling FinTech startup. As a backend-focused engineer, you’ll contribute directly to the design and build of core systems, with real influence over technical decisions and product outcomes.

The role offers the opportunity to work hands-on across the platform, collaborating closely with colleagues across disciplines while building robust, scalable systems using a modern backend stack.

• 5+ years of experience with Kotlin or Java and object-oriented programming
• Strong experience building APIs and working with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, and automated testing
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Willingness to work on-site in Utrecht
