AppyThings is looking for a medior integration engineer with experience in API Management, GCP or Azure integrations. You will work on designing and implementing integrations that connect systems securely and efficiently, while growing your expertise in modern integration platforms.
You combine technical implementation with a learning mindset and help teams adopt good integration practices.
What will you do as Medior Integration Engineer?
- Implementing APIs using Apigee, Azure API Management or similar platforms
- Building event-driven solutions with Pub/Sub, Event Grid, Service Bus or comparable technologies
- Developing integration flows with Application Integration, Azure Functions, Logic Apps or similar tools
- Working with cloud platform components (networking, identity, secrets)
- Automating infrastructure with Terraform or similar tools
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting clients and application teams with integration challenges
- Learning and applying best practices in integration architecture and security

What are we looking for?
- At least 2-4 years of hands-on integration experience
- Experience with API Management, GCP and/or Azure
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, Service Bus etc.)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in consultancy
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English and based in the Netherlands
Big pluses: Experience with Apigee, Application Integration or Terraform.
