RedCarpet is looking for two experienced Senior IDMS DBAs on behalf of an international client operating in a highly regulated and security-sensitive environment.
Are you an experienced IDMS Database Administrator with a strong background in mainframe technologies? Do you enjoy working in mission-critical environments where reliability, continuity, and performance are key? Then this could be an excellent opportunity.
As a Senior IDMS DBA, you will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of a critical IDMS environment. You will work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure the stability and availability of business-critical systems while contributing to ongoing improvements and change initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining the IDMS database environment.
- Supporting business-critical applications running on IDMS.
- Troubleshooting complex incidents and performance issues.
- Performing database changes and supporting release activities.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring platform stability, availability, and performance.
- Participating in an on-call support rotation.
- Supporting change activities that may occasionally take place during evenings or weekends.
