As a Telecom Technician/Antenna Builder, you contribute to constructing and maintaining high-speed networks across the Netherlands. Working at height and using advanced technologies, you install fiber optics and radio base stations within an innovative team environment. As a Telecom Technician/Antenna Builder, you’ll be responsible for constructing and maintaining telecom networks across the Netherlands.
Your tasks include:
- Laying cable trays, feeders, and fiber optic cables;
- Mounting, connecting, and aligning antennas (including GPS)
- Installing RRUs, connectors, and grounding sets
- Setting up radio base stations and electrical distribution boxes.
- Perform electronic and GPS testing, and assemble steel structures for antennas and transmission equipment.
On a typical day, you and your colleagues travel to different project sites. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, often at heights or in technical areas. Your activities range from connecting a new transmission tower to performing precision measurements. Safety and accuracy are essential. You’ll use the latest technologies in telecom and have opportunities to further develop your technical skills.

- Strong technical affinity and eagerness to learn
- Willingness to work at heights and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license (B)
- Precision and a sense of responsibility
- Good command of the English language
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (such as VCA)
