For a modern and large-scale distribution center in Amsterdam Westpoort, we are looking for an experienced forklift driver for the Inbound (Goods In) department . The distribution center has an area of more than 61,000 m² and features 64 loading docks , making it one of the most advanced logistics centers in the region.
Working hours
- Full-time (38-40 hours per week)
- Fixed day shift: 07:00 - 16:00
- Occasional overtime and working on Saturdays (30% shift allowance)
- Receiving and registering incoming goods
- Receive and guide drivers
- Unloading trailers with the forklift
- Sorting and stacking goods according to applicable procedures
- Performing simple administrative tasks and entering data
- Coordinating the unloading of containers together with the Team Leader
- Report operational updates to the Team Leader
- Communicating with internal support departments
- Handling simple email correspondence
- Valid forklift certificate
- Experience in an inbound or warehouse environment (preferred)
- Be able to read and understand ASN documents
- Good command of the English language
- Responsible, reliable and accurate
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Salary: €16,10 per hour ( €2790,66 gross per month ) + holiday allowance
- Weekly salary payment
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per km (from 10 km)
- Pension scheme
- A stable full-time position with fixed working hours from 07:00 to 16:00.
