Norden Chemicals & Logistics B.V., part of the Hicri Ercili Group, is a chemical production and trading company based in Sas van Gent, Netherlands. In addition to producing liquid aluminum sulfate (LAS) at our own facility, we trade a broad portfolio of approximately 20 different water treatment and industrial chemicals, including polyaluminium chloride (PAC), sodium bisulfate, and potassium sulfate. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team.

In this role, you will keep our production equipment running safely and reliably, and work closely with the mechanical maintenance team and Plant Manager.

About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Technician to carry out electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on our production site, including wiring, motor control, and basic-level automation for process equipment. In this role, you will keep our production equipment running safely and reliably, and work closely with the mechanical maintenance team and Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work throughout the production facility
- Diagnose and resolve motor faults on industrial equipment such as pumps, fans, agitators, and mixers
- Perform wiring work and maintain electrical installations to a safe and professional standard
- Read and work from electrical panels/switchboards (panels), and carry out panel-related troubleshooting and maintenance
- Carry out periodic (preventive) maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment and installations
- Support and maintain basic-level process automation and control systems
- Coordinate maintenance activities closely with the mechanical maintenance team to ensure smooth and safe execution of work
- Report malfunctions, deviations, and completed work accurately in maintenance logs/systems
- Follow all HSE procedures and wear required PPE when working with electrical installations and hazardous/corrosive chemical environments
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area complies with safety and environmental standards
- Be available to work in shifts or for on-call/emergency maintenance when required
- Vocational/technical education in Electrical Engineering (MBO level or equivalent)
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a factory or production/process environment, preferably in the chemical or process industry
- Solid knowledge of motor control and troubleshooting for industrial equipment (pumps, fans, agitators, mixers)
- Hands-on experience with wiring and electrical panel/switchboard work
- Basic-level knowledge of automation and process control systems (PLC/DCS experience is a plus)
- VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as in close coordination with the mechanical maintenance team
- Willingness to work in shifts or be on call if required
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks
- Fluent in Dutch (Flemish) and English — both required
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on and safety-first mindset
