Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated HSE Specialist to join this dynamic manufacturing site. The role involves ensuring a safe and healthy workplace by supporting safety initiatives, managing risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across the site. The ideal candidate will be a proactive motivator, capable of engaging diverse teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with operational teams to address various HSE topics, including machine safety, chemical safety, fire safety, and environmental permits.
-Manage and update emergency response plans, including coordinating the site’s emergency response team.
-Support incident investigations and ensure proper follow-up on safety and environmental reports.
-Act as a key point of contact for safety compliance and improvements, providing expert advice to management and staff.
-Participate in a global HSE community, sharing best practices and new developments to continuously enhance safety standards on site.

Requirements:
-HBO or WO/Master degree with substantial experience (typically 7+ years) or more than 10 years of relevant HSE experience.
-Strong knowledge of SHE management systems, risk assessments, and safety audits.
-Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and influence a safety-first culture.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Ability to work independently, especially during operational hours, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
-Experience with safety and environmental management in an industrial setting is essential.
