Job Description:
For our client in Lochem, we are looking for a Production Shift Team Leader (5-Shift). This role focuses on leading a production team in a rotating 5-shift schedule, ensuring stable operations, safe working practices, and consistent product quality. The Production Shift Team Leader (5-Shift) is a hands-on people manager who can coach teams through daily performance, continuous improvement, and change.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a production team working in a rotating 5-shift schedule, including weekends.
• Ensure safe execution of work and maintain a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
• Monitor production performance and maintain continuity, quality, and efficiency of the process.
• Coordinate daily priorities with other departments on-site (e.g., quality, maintenance, supply chain, and planning).
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members, encouraging ownership and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new ways of working within the department.
• Translate objectives into clear actions and help create a well-trained, future-ready team.

Requirements:
• Proven leadership experience in a production/manufacturing environment (experience in a shift-based setting is strongly preferred).
• Strong people management and coaching skills, including guiding teams through change.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (food industry experience is preferred).
• Affinity with production technology and the ability to keep oversight of processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Supply chain understanding/experience.
• Strong IT skills.
• Dutch fluency is required; English is a plus.
