Foreman

As a Reinforcement Foreman, you are a key link within the reinforcement department. In consultation with the department head, you assign tasks and provide clear work instructions to your colleagues. You oversee the execution of the work and ensure that production meets the appropriate quality standards.

You inspect rebar cages based on rebar and production drawings and, together with the team, monitor quality and productivity. When the department head is absent, you take charge of the department and ensure that everyone can work together effectively and efficiently.

In addition, you’ll focus on safe working conditions, order, and cleanliness on the shop floor. So, you’re not just involved in technical work; you also play an important role in the team and the day-to-day organization of the department. You’ll report directly to the department manager and have plenty of opportunities for professional growth.

• You have an MBO Level 3 work and thinking level
• You have relevant knowledge of reinforcement and can read technical drawings
• Management experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Dutch is preferred, or a willingness to take a course
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
• You are willing to learn how to operate the mesh machine
• You are willing to take a first-aid course
• You are flexible and available to work 24 to 40 hours per week

• An estimated salary of €3,095-€3,828 gross per month, excluding a 21% three-shift allowance
