Production Team Leader

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding staff, ensuring safety and quality standards, and maintaining smooth production workflows.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate a team of production staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Oversee safety, quality, hygiene, and technical aspects of the department, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
• Manage the production process in line with planning and scheduling, including coordinating meetings, analyzing performance data, and addressing any issues.
• Participate in or lead project groups to implement improvements.
• Identify and suggest operational improvements and prioritize technical tasks in collaboration with the Technical Service team or supervisor.
• Investigate production complaints, determine root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Train and coach team members, providing clear guidance and support.
• Execute HR policies, including staff development and adherence to procedures.
• Contribute to the development of work instructions and procedures.
This is an interim role scheduled for 6 months.

Requirements:
• MBO/HBO level education or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment, with similar leadership responsibilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of HACCP, Food Defense, safety instructions, and internal audit procedures.
• Familiarity with allergens, emergency response (BHV), VOP, NEN 3140 standards, and safety protocols.
