Working Foreman

As a Working Foreman, you are an important link on the construction site. You make sure the work is carried out safely, efficiently and according to plan.

Your working day typically starts with a cup of coffee and a short meeting at the office. Together with your colleagues, you then travel to the project location. No two days are the same, as you’ll work on a wide range of construction projects.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting your team on the construction site.
• Organizing the daily activities and making sure the work progresses smoothly.
• Working on the construction or renovation of barns, storage buildings and residential properties.
• Coordinating with the work planner and site manager.
• Communicating with suppliers and other parties involved in the project.
• Carrying out various practical construction tasks when needed.
• Keeping an eye on quality, safety and progress throughout the project.
• Helping your colleagues and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

You’ll have plenty of variety in your work and the opportunity to use your technical knowledge every day. At the end of the working day, you can look back on a job well done and see the results of your efforts on site.

• A competitive gross hourly wage of €20.02 to €22.68, depending on experience.

• MBO working and thinking level, preferably with a technical background.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Experience in agricultural construction or a similar field.
• A willingness to perform a variety of construction-related tasks.
• A motivated and flexible attitude.
• A positive approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
• A VCA certificate, or the willingness to obtain one within 3 months.
• Good English communication skills; basic Dutch is an advantage.
