Senior Mechanical Engineer

You will be part of a highly skilled engineering team, working closely with project managers, designers, and field engineers. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing emergency power systems, both in containers and on-site at customer locations. You will oversee the entire design package, including the frame, diesel generator, fuel systems, control panels, cooling and ventilation systems, and electrical provisions. Your focus will be on ensuring both technical feasibility and commercial viability.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Using advanced CAD software to develop innovative and reliable energy solutions.
• Conducting engineering analyses, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and dynamic simulations.
• Optimizing designs to enhance performance and reduce costs by suggesting alternative materials or design modifications.
• Performing technical calculations, including load, stress, thermodynamic, and fluid dynamics analyses.
• Managing projects from concept to execution, ensuring they align with the company’s mission of energy independence.
• Preparing detailed documentation for seamless project execution and maintenance.
• Continuously improving engineering techniques and processes, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong practical approach.
• Expertise in mechanical design, diesel and generator technology, fuel, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Proficiency in design and engineering software such as Inventor, Vault, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
