Junior Production Operator / 3 shifts - Food Production in Bergschenhoek

As a Junior Production Operator at Snack Connection in Bergschenhoek, you’ll be a vital part of our production team. You’ll work in a modern, fast-paced production facility where teamwork and efficiency are key. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring packaging machines for nut-based snacks
• Conducting quality checks to make sure products meet our high standards
• Carrying out routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance
• Quickly resolving minor issues on the production line to keep things moving
• Following safety and hygiene procedures in the food production environment
• Maintaining accurate records of production output and issues
• Working collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets

You’ll be working full-time in a 3-shift system from Monday to Friday:

• Morning shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
• Afternoon shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
• Night shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:45 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be needed, with extra pay for those shifts.

• At least 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or operator role (food industry is a plus)
• Comfortable operating and troubleshooting packaging machinery
• Good spoken English skills
• Able to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system (morning, afternoon, and night)
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive team spirit

• Salary starting at €17.32 per hour, with potential to increase up to €18.50 per hour based on experience
• Shift allowance: +14% for 2 shifts, +19% for 3 shifts
• Extra allowance: +30% for working on Saturdays, +100% for public holidays
• 8% vacation allowance
• Full-time position (38-40 hours per week)
