You will monitor supplier progress closely, proactively addressing delays and even visiting sites to verify status. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Expeditor to support the timely delivery of procured goods and services for technical projects. In this role, you will closely monitor supplier progress, identify potential delays at an early stage and ensure that project teams receive accurate and reliable information regarding delivery status. When required, you will visit suppliers to assess progress directly and take appropriate action to prevent or minimize scheduling issues.
- Monitor supplier progress and ensure goods and services are delivered according to purchase orders and project schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers and proactively address potential delays or deviations.
- Coordinate with Engineering and QC regarding deadlines, inspections and supplier visits.
- Visit suppliers when required to verify progress and delivery status.
- Provide accurate progress updates to internal project teams.
- Bachelor-level education or equivalent working level.
- Comfortable working in a technical and project-driven environment.
- Able to work with ERP systems.
- Proactive, persuasive and confident in dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Practical, accurate, flexible and organised.
- A strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- EU passport or valid work permit for the Netherlands.
