Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Bioprocess Technician to join our production team in Boxmeer. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the manufacturing of inactivated antigens for vaccines, working within a fast-paced, high-precision biotechnology environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting the production process, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards, and participating in process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plan production activities for each manufacturing week, including media preparation.
- Independently execute production tasks such as cell culture, virus propagation, inactivation, fermentation control, centrifugation, filtration, and handling of bioreactors and vessels.
- Record all procedures accurately and complete batch documentation following strict protocols.
- Identify, report, and document deviations or irregularities in the production process.
- Evaluate the product quality and process methods, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
- Support project teams in process optimization and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical knowledge related to valve controls and replacement parts, and train colleagues when necessary.
- Contribute to deviating process management by thoroughly documenting deviations and supporting root cause analysis.
- Work primarily day shifts but may be required to participate in on-call, weekend, or shift work as needed in the future.

Requirements:
- Completed MBO-3 or MBO-4 level education, preferably in Biotechnology, Process Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech production environment is preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and working in controlled environments such as cleanrooms is advantageous.
- Interest or affinity for virology, microbiology, and bioprocess technology, with willingness to undergo training.
- Strong focus on quality and safety, with good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and collaborate in a team.
