As a Project Engineer Maritime, you will ensure that electrical engineering projects progress smoothly from the engineering phase to successful execution.
What will you do as a Project Engineer Maritime?This is a hands-on Project Engineering role within the maritime industry, with a strong focus on work preparation, technical coordination, and project execution.
You will translate final designs into complete work packages, coordinate materials and orders, and ensure that all required technical information is available on time. Throughout the project, you will work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and execution teams.
Your responsibilities- Developing final designs into complete work preparation packages;
- Preparing, reviewing, and managing working and production drawings;
- Planning and preparing comprehensive project and assignment descriptions;
- Calculating and ordering the required materials;
- Monitoring orders, delivery times, and prices;
- Preparing and processing additional and reduced work;
- Coordinating activities with project management, engineering, procurement, and execution;
- Identifying and resolving technical and organizational issues;
- Providing technical support throughout project execution.
You will work for a technically specialized organization that develops and delivers electrical installations and control systems for luxury yachts, inland vessels, and offshore projects. Within an informal working environment, you will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, procurement specialists, and technicians on projects covering engineering, installation, service, and maintenance.
What do you bring?You have a strong technical background, work systematically, and think ahead. You maintain an overview of drawings, materials, orders, and project information and can respond quickly when planning or execution requirements change.
Requirements- You have completed a technical secondary vocational degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical Engineering;
- You have experience in work preparation, project engineering, or a comparable technical coordination role;
- You can read, review, and manage technical drawings;
- You have strong technical insight and an affinity with maritime electrical engineering;
- You can plan activities, materials, and deliveries in a structured manner;
- You work accurately and can set priorities effectively;
- You have a proactive attitude and the ability to anticipate project requirements;
- You communicate effectively with different technical disciplines;
- You have a good command of English, both written and spoken;
- You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week;
- You are eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Employment conditions- A gross salary of €3,300 to €4,800 per month, depending on your knowledge and experience;
