Logistics Coordinator

Are you an experienced logistics professional looking for a new opportunity within an international environment? For an international food ingredients manufacturer, we are looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation, warehouse and inventory operations.

Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate daily logistics activities to ensure finished goods are delivered to customers on time, in the correct quantity and condition.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating shipments, loading activities and deliveries with warehouses, carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Tendering shipments to carriers and freight forwarders.
• Preparing and sending transport and shipping documentation.
• Monitoring open orders and deliveries and proactively resolving delays or disruptions.
• Managing returns, damages and inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinating with third-party logistics providers and warehouses.
• Supporting freight cost control and invoice resolution.
• Maintaining transportation rates and routes in SAP.
• Executing SAP inventory and logistics postings.
• Supporting inventory reconciliations, cycle counts and annual stock counts.
• Providing documentation and information for internal and external audits.

Profile

• 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing or a similar environment.
• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with transport and shipping documentation and day-to-day logistics coordination.
• Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders and/or third-party logistics providers.
• Experience with an ERP system; SAP is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Customer-focused, adaptable and comfortable working in an international environment.

Job Offer

• €40,000 - €45,000 per year, depending on experience.
