As a delivery driver, you are responsible for bringing Albert Heijn Online grocery orders from Bleiswijk to customers at home.

At the beginning of your shift, you prepare for your assigned route. Once you are ready, you get into the delivery van and head towards your first customer.

At each stop, you select the correct order from the van and carry the grocery crates to the front door. You greet the customer, hand over the order and provide friendly service. When necessary, you also collect empty crates to take back with you.

You then continue to the next address on your route.

The position offers a combination of independence and customer contact. While you spend part of your working day driving, you are also regularly on your feet. Walking, lifting grocery crates and getting in and out of the van are all part of the job.

Once all orders have been delivered, you return to the location in Bleiswijk and complete your shift.

No. Previous delivery or courier experience is not required.

You will receive training when you start and can join an experienced colleague during your first working days. This allows you to learn the job before completing routes independently.

Morning shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Afternoon/evening shift: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Not every Saturday. However, you must be available for at least two Saturdays per month. This is a mandatory requirement.

Driving is an important part of the position, but it is not the only task.

• You have a valid category B driving licence.

• You are physically able to lift and carry grocery crates.

• You are friendly and customer-focused.

• You can work independently and responsibly.

• You have a sufficient command of Dutch and/or English.
