As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn Online, you make sure online grocery orders reach customers in Amersfoort and the surrounding area.

At the beginning of your shift, you check the route planned for you and prepare for departure. Once everything is ready, you get behind the wheel and drive to your first customer.

At each stop, you take the correct grocery order from the van and carry the crates to the customer's front door. You hand over the groceries carefully and provide friendly service. If the customer has empty crates to return, you take these back with you.

Then it is time for the next address.

This makes every shift a combination of driving and physical activity. You regularly get in and out of the van, walk to customers' doors and carry grocery crates. At the same time, you have the freedom and responsibility of completing your route independently.

Once all orders have been delivered, you return to the location in Amersfoort and complete your shift.

No. Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is not required.

When you start, you will receive practical training and can join an experienced colleague during your first working days. This helps you become familiar with the job before driving routes independently.

There are two main shifts:

Morning shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Afternoon/evening shift: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Yes. You need to be available for at least two Saturdays per month. This is a mandatory requirement for the position.

You drive between customers, deliver their grocery orders and provide friendly service at the door.

The role also involves regular physical activity, including lifting grocery crates, walking to customers' homes and getting in and out of the delivery van throughout your shift.

• You have a valid category B driving licence.

• You are physically able to lift and carry grocery crates.

• You are friendly and customer-focused.

• You can work independently and responsibly.

• You have a sufficient command of Dutch and/or English.

• You are available for the agreed shifts.
