At the Tata Steel site in IJmuiden, Linde Gas produces the gases that keep the steel industry running. Without oxygen and nitrogen, there is no steel production. You will help keep heavy pumps, compressors and valves running reliably. You solve technical issues independently, supervise contractors and get plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.

• Maintain pumps, compressors, valves and static equipment;
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including emergency repairs;
• Dismantle, assemble and replace components, followed by testing the equipment;
• Commission and decommission installations and equipment;
• Supervise contractors and inspect the work they have carried out;
• Manufacture and process parts in the workshop using hand tools and machinery;
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and discuss them with your supervisor.

Over jou

• A technical qualification at MBO/MTS level;
• Experience in an industrial environment, for example in the oil or gas industry;
• A valid VCA-VOL certificate. Safety is always your top priority;
• You are comfortable working with computers and can write clear reports;
• You speak Dutch and/or English;
• You take initiative, think ahead and enjoy working as part of a team.

Voor jou

• A salary between €3,974 and €4,856 gross per month, based on a 40-hour working week;
• 8.5% profit-sharing bonus, paid in March;
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May;
• 38 days off: 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days. You can also exchange these days for benefits such as a laptop or a sustainable initiative;
• €100 per month contribution towards your health insurance;
• A pension scheme, with 70% of the contribution paid by Linde;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre, up to a maximum commuting distance of 60 km one way;
