Job description
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist / Logistics Team Leader to support logistics operations and continuous improvement initiatives at a major manufacturing site in Borculo.
This role combines people leadership, logistics optimization, project management, and operational support. You will lead a small dispatch team, drive process improvements, analyze logistics performance, and contribute to both strategic and day to day logistics activities.

Responsibilities
• Lead and support a team of 4 dispatch employees
• Manage logistics improvement projects using DMAIC methodology
• Represent the logistics department during daily operational meetings
• Participate in site improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• Monitor and report logistics KPIs on a monthly basis
• Analyze and resolve complex logistics challenges
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, sustainability, service, and cost performance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines
• Support the execution of short term and long term logistics strategies
• Participate in periodic on call duties outside office hours

Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of logistics experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience leading teams and coordinating operational activities
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Experience managing improvement projects
• Knowledge of DMAIC and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with SAP, EWM, and MES is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment
• Fluent Dutch language skills required
• Good English communication skills

Other Information
• Location: Borculo, Netherlands
• Working Hours: 38 hours per week
• Hybrid Working: Up to 1 day per week from home
• Interview Process: Two interviews, first online and second onsite
