Warehouse employee - overhead crane operator

For our client in Geldermalsen, we are looking for a warehouse employee - overhead crane operator. You'll be working within a company specialized in custom-made products and the timely delivery of steel. The company takes its clients' projects to a higher level, and you can become an important part of that. You're part of the logistics process and take care of both incoming and outgoing materials. You do this using, among other things, a pallet truck, forklift, and overhead crane. Nice and varied work in a great working environment.

As a warehouse employee - overhead crane operator, you will be doing the following:

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods.
• Preparing materials for orders, transport, or further processing.
• Moving and storing materials in the warehouse.
• Carrying out stamping and marking activities.
• Checking whether markings and data match the order or instruction.
• Scanning, registering, or processing goods according to the applicable procedure.
• Ensuring a tidy, organized, and safe workplace.
• Signaling and reporting deviations, damage, or unsafe situations.
• Signaling and reporting malfunctions of machines, cranes, lifting equipment, or other materiel.
• Assisting with stock checks and counts.
• Correctly using work equipment, tools, machines, and personal protective equipment.
• Carrying out tasks according to the instructions of the warehouse team leader, planning, or supervisor.
• Complying with safety regulations and internal work instructions.
• Working days Monday through Friday, day shift.

• Ability to work carefully with machines, tools, and lifting equipment.
• Basic proficiency with scanners, registration systems, or ERP systems is a plus.
• Driver's license B, BE, or T is a plus, depending on the tasks.
• Experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment.
• In possession of relevant certificates, such as overhead crane or lifting license.

As a warehouse employee - overhead crane operator, you'll get:

• Salary between €14.99 and €17.75 gross per hour.
• Allowances and overtime pay in accordance with the technical wholesale trade CLA (collective labor agreement).
• Travel expense reimbursement of €0.23.
• 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
• Pension scheme via the technical wholesale trade CLA.
• Prospect of a permanent contract.
