Reefer Technician, MAASVLAKTE 2 ROTTERDAM

Join Maersk at Maasvlakte II as a Reefer & Genset Technician through Adecco.

You'll work on refrigerated containers and generator sets, making sure they remain safe, reliable and fully operational. From inspections and repairs to temperature monitoring, your technical skills help keep the operation moving.

As a Reefer Technician, you'll work hands-on with different technical installations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and repairing reefer units and gensets;
• Identifying and resolving technical issues;
• Registering completed work, parts and refrigerant usage;
• Carrying out modifications and customer-specific technical work;
• Monitoring units and performing temperature checks;
• Supporting technical terminal activities;
• Working according to STEK guidelines and safety procedures.

In short: you help keep the cooling technology behind international logistics running.

You can expect:

• €17.30 - €18.32 gross per hour, depending on experience;
• 14% allowance for every hour worked;
• €0.25 per kilometre travel allowance;
• 29 vacation days based on full-time employment;
• 8.33% holiday allowance;
• Pension accrual from your first working day;
• Access to online courses and training through the Adecco Academy;
• A full-time contract through Adecco.

You'll work at Maersk on Maasvlakte II, in the heart of the Port of Rotterdam. Instead of working in a traditional workshop environment, you'll apply your technical skills to reefer containers and gensets that form part of an international logistics operation.

We're looking for someone with a solid technical background who enjoys practical work and solving problems.

You have:

• Demonstrable technical skills in maintenance and repair;
• Experience working with reefer units and gensets;
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration technology and STEK regulations;
• Knowledge of repair standards for reefer units;
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• The willingness to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG);
• Your own transport to travel to Maasvlakte II.
