Port Logistics Employee, MAASVLAKTE 2 ROTTERDAM

Would you like to work in the Port of Rotterdam, but don't want to spend your entire day in the same warehouse?

At Maersk on Maasvlakte II, you combine warehouse activities with working around container vessels in the port.

As a Vessel Supply Employee, you collect orders, prepare shipments and make sure parts reach the right destination. Sometimes, that means delivering them directly on board a container vessel.

It's an active and varied logistics job for someone who likes to stay on the move and take responsibility.

Your working day combines warehouse operations with activities in the port.

Your responsibilities include:

• Picking orders in the warehouse;
• Preparing shipments for transport;
• Delivering parts on board container vessels;
• Collecting defective parts;
• Sorting items for return shipments;
• Processing orders and returns in the system.

In short: this isn't your typical warehouse job. You help make sure the right parts reach the right place at the right time.

You can expect:

• €17.30 - €18.32 gross per hour;
• €0.25 per kilometre travel allowance;
• 29 vacation days based on full-time employment;
• 8.33% holiday allowance;
• Pension accrual from your first working day;
• Free training through the Adecco Academy;
• A contract through Adecco with the possibility of joining Maersk directly.

Through Adecco, you'll work at Maersk on Maasvlakte II, right in the middle of the Port of Rotterdam.

You'll gain experience in an international logistics environment while working both in the warehouse and around container vessels.

This position could be a great fit if you enjoy being active, working accurately and having variety in your day.

For this position, you need:

• A valid category B driving licence;
• Your own transport to reach Maasvlakte II;
• A VCA Basic certificate (Or the willingness to get one);
• A forklift certificate;
• Basic computer skills;
• A Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
