OT Security Consultant

Are you an experienced OT Security Consultant (m/f/x) with a strong background in industrial environments and manufacturing facilities? For an international organization within the manufacturing industry, we are looking for an OT Security Consultant who will play a key role in strengthening the cybersecurity posture of production sites across the EMEA region.

In this role, you will travel regularly throughout the EMEA region to support manufacturing sites in improving their OT security landscape. As an OT Security Consultant, you will work closely with local engineering teams, operational stakeholders, and central security specialists to ensure the protection of critical industrial systems.

What will you be doing?

As an OT Security Consultant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for OT security matters across multiple production sites within the EMEA region. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting OT security assessments and security reviews at manufacturing sites.
• Acting as the OT Security focal point for environments containing PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Reviewing and maintaining OT asset inventories, network segmentation, and VLAN configurations.
• Coordinating vulnerability management, patching activities, and security remediation initiatives within OT environments.
• Performing access reviews and ensuring compliance with security policies and change management procedures.
• Managing and monitoring backup and recovery processes for PLCs, HMIs, and other business-critical production systems.
• Coordinating external vendors and ensuring secure access to industrial environments.
• Supporting business continuity planning and OT incident preparedness activities.
• Reporting to site leadership, engineering teams, and central OT security stakeholders.

What do you bring?

• Proven experience in OT or ICS security within manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, vulnerability management, and OT governance.
• Experience working in operational manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 or similar industrial cybersecurity frameworks is considered an advantage.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
