Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant in the Amsterdam Area, you will manage your own portfolio of international clients and support them with a variety of financial reporting and accounting challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining relationships with an international client portfolio
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and financial reporting packages
• Reviewing multi-entity reporting packages
• Advising clients on improving their finance and accounting processes
• Collaborating with specialists on technical accounting matters
• Becoming a trusted point of contact for clients seeking practical, high-quality advice
• Building long-term client relationships
• Reviewing the work of junior colleagues
• Sharing knowledge and supporting the professional growth of less experienced team members

What You'll Bring

The organisation is looking for someone who is curious, ambitious, proactive, and enjoys working with people.

• 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial reporting
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing financial administrations
• A solid understanding of Dutch GAAP
• Confidence communicating with international clients in English
• A proactive mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships

Dutch language skills are not required. The client portfolio is international, and English is the primary language used within the team.
