As a warehouse manager, together with your team and fellow warehouse managers, you handle all inbound, storage, and outbound processes of goods for our clients, including value added activities. You do this within an innovative and dynamic environment. You implement new clients, maintain relationships with existing clients, and actively contribute to the future of DSV.

How you do this?You ensure the execution and optimization of the logistics process within our warehouses. You do this in such a way that the set production standards, deadlines, quality requirements, procedures, and regulations are met. You achieve this by:

• managing an average of 1 to 3 (senior) warehouse team leaders and indirectly overseeing 5 to 45 warehouse employees;
• directing, coaching, and supporting your team;
• coordinating your department’s logistics activities with those of other internal departments;
• providing management information based on pre-agreed targets and KPIs;
• monitoring operational performance in terms of both quality and quantity, with a strong emphasis on quality and security requirements, and taking corrective action when necessary;
• initiating and embedding continuous improvement in our operational processes.

You bring

• at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a logistics or production environment;
• a passion for logistics and the ability to inspire others;
• strong English communication skills, Dutch is a plus;
• a results-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the confidence to stand by your opinions.
