Production Worker Food Industry (Giessen)

As a Production worker in Giessen, you’ll be essential to daily operations at a modern food processing facility. Your tasks will include mixing nuts and seeds in the Mengerij department (which involves some heavier work), packaging products on the Inpackline, cleaning machines and production lines in the Corveer area, and sorting as well as repackaging products in the Rework and Box Unpacking sections. This job is all about precision and teamwork. You’ll work standing up for most of your shift, and attention to detail is key to keeping quality high. You’ll receive proper training and support from your team to make sure you feel confident in your role. The working days run through a shift system: 06:00 - 14:45, 14:45 - 23:30, or 23:00 - 06:00. There is possible overtime, which is paid with bonuses, and the job offers long-term employment.

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar production worker or food processing role
• Communicative level of English or Dutch (both speaking and writing)
• Own transport to work (car, bike, etc.)
• Good physical condition for standing and manual tasks
• Willingness to work in a shift system
• Vmbo working and thinking level
• Maximum commute distance of 20 km
