Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport is located just 10 minutes from Schiphol Airport and offers a free shuttle service for both guests and team members. With 342 rooms and extensive meeting and event facilities, no two days are ever the same.
This flexible 0-hour position is ideal for students, hospitality starters, or anyone looking for an extra job alongside their studies, family commitments, or other work.
Responsibilities
•Clean and maintain china, glassware, silverware, kitchen utensils, and chefs' equipment to the highest standards.
•Carry out dishwashing and deep-cleaning duties for kitchen machinery, kitchen areas, storage facilities, and back-of-house colleague areas.
•Ensure all cleaning activities are completed in accordance with hygiene, HACCP, Health & Safety, and company standards.
•Support the kitchen and Food & Beverage teams by maintaining clean, organised, and safe working environments.
•Report maintenance issues, incidents, accidents, and safety concerns while following company procedures and guidelines.
•Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
Essential Requirements
•Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•Flexible availability to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
•Ability to communicate in English.
•Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Preferred Requirements
•Previous experience in a Steward, Kitchen Porter, Cleaning, or Hospitality Support role.
•Basic knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cleaning procedures.
•Experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
•Interest in developing a career in hospitality or becoming a Chef in the future.
