Air Import Forwarder

As an Air Import Forwarder, you work in the Transport & Distribution sector and are responsible for coordinating import processes within Logistics. You ensure the efficient and error-free handling of shipments at the Schiphol location.

Description

• Operational handling of primarily import air freight shipments and monitoring of all operational &financial tasks related.
• Monitoring the performance of carriers and service providers.
• Collaboration with various departments on business implementations.
• Checking KPIs and initiating appropriate measures in case of deviations.
• Communication with suppliers, airlines, and transport companies, as well as daily correspondence withour global network in English.

Profile

• Several years of work experience in the field of air freight.
• Team spirit, negotiation skills, and a commercial mindset.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Organizational talent, flexible attitude, eagerness to learn, initiative, and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages both written and spoken.
