Warehouse Team Leader - Logistics Management - Nedcargo Haaften

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your day revolves around guiding and supporting your warehouse team. You’ll focus on improving team performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. With a strong emphasis on LEAN principles, you’ll coordinate daily activities, manage staff deployment, and ensure all tasks run efficiently. You’ll be based in a busy warehouse, working two shifts (5:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:15 PM-11:15 PM).

• Coach, guide, and motivate employees with attention to LEAN working
• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, intervening when needed
• Ensure optimal staff utilization and flexibility
• Plan and execute internal logistics for inbound and outbound using WMS
• Resolve operational issues and provide clear instructions
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and oversee compliance with safety and company standards
• Take part in the emergency response team structure You’ll work full time, alternating between early and late shifts, with weekends off. Expect a hands-on environment where teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement are central.

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (for example, Warehouse Supervisor, Shift Leader, Logistics Team Leader)
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Solution- and result-oriented mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LEAN principles is a plus
• Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Monthly salary from € 3,034 up to € 3,840 depending on experience
