Senior Engineer (Network). Request C005491 Plans, designs, implements and supports secure enterprise and deployable network infrastructure across CIS environments, ensuring reliable connectivity for mission-critical operations.

Main duties Develop technical designs; install, configure and integrate network and Core Services components. Perform testing, validation and acceptance activities; support deployments, upgrades, migrations and modernization. Support fixed and deployable networks, including deployment, operation, sustainment and recovery in operational environments. Monitor network availability and performance; troubleshoot faults, conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Maintain architecture diagrams, implementation plans, operating procedures and configuration baselines. Coordinate with project teams, architects, security stakeholders and operational authorities. Identify and mitigate risks, support quality assurance and provide regular NCIA reports covering progress, deliverables, issues, resources and decisions required.

Experience and requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent education and professional experience.

At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise and deployable networks.

Experience supporting on-premises CIS environments , including data centres, server rooms, command-and-control facilities and deployable communications systems.

Experience integrating and testing fixed and deployable network architectures.

Experience with mission-critical network installations, upgrades, migrations and modernization.

Strong network documentation, fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis and performance optimization experience.

Military, defence, government or other mission-critical operational experience is desirable .

NATO SECRET security clearance required.
