As a Research Associate in Transient Production you will take care of the transient production of antibody fragments and antigens as recombinant proteins under the Antibody Research Materials department for the R&D department.

• Perform laboratory work to culture host cell lines (CHO, HEK…) and perform transient transfections
• Contribute to the implementation of new techniques like Ambr15 systems and octet measurement assays
• Perform your work in the dedicated time frame with your team members
• Document the laboratory work and results in the dedicated electronic lab notebook systems, continuously assess and improve current workflows and implement them in laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• As multiple stakeholders will be involved this role requires good communication and planning skills as well as good laboratory practice skills

Gevraagd

For the position of a Research Associate in Transient Production we are looking for a bachelor / HBO educated candidate specialized in Life Sciences
(PhD candidates will not be considered for this position)

• You have at least 1-2 years of experience in the field of cell culture and protein production
• You are proactive and enjoy working in a team and inspire others with your enthusiasm
• You are stress resistant, accurate and capable of running several experiments in parallel
• You recognize the importance of working according to the agreed research-based Quality System, which includes adhering to procedures and detailed documentation of your work
